Ashgill Force was once an industrial area of lead mining, and currently the highest waterfall in the Eden Valley. The fall is located four miles from Alston and neighbouring the village of Garrigill. From the Ashgill Bridge, the fall is a short walk down accessible by walking through the wooded gorge.
Castle Howe Scar Stone Circle
The Castlehowe Scar Stone Circle is in a field next to the Shap – Crosby Ravensworth road. It is a small circular stone made of Shap granite measuring 7 meters by 6 meters.
Broomrigg Circle
The Broomrigg circles are behind the attractive village of Ainstable neighbouring Penrith in Broomrigg Forest. There are three stone circles and also two smaller ones.
They have a set of boulders 12' across. In one of the circles such as the one in the collared urn, there was a series of cremations that took place. The majority of the circles are on the left side near the path before crossing the old stone wall.
Brough Castle
The castle is on the ridge directing to the Stainmore Pass on a Roman Fort. Similar to other religious castles, the castles were renovated in the 17th century by Lady Anne Clifford. The traces of the restoration of the Brough Castle are visible up to date. St Michael's Parish Church has been made near the castle for it to display the exhibitions about religion.

Brougham Castle
The Brougham Castle not only acted as a barrier against the Scot invaders but also a high-status residence. It is prestigious because it welcomed the great Edward I in 1300. The amazing spiral stairways wake the castle a place to explore.
The location is also ideal for a family day out or a picnic. Brough Castles was established in the 13th century in a picturesque before crossing River Eamont in Cumbria. The castles have survived for a long duration of time as compared to other places built after that.
King Arthur's Round Table
The King Arthur's Round Table is an unusual circular prehistoric earthwork that is bound by a ditch and also an outer bank at the Eamont Bridge in Penrith 400 meters from Mayburgh Henge.
The table has an irregular bank that surrounds a ditch.In the 7th century, near the northern entrance, two standing stones were recorded. Currently, the two stones disappeared, and the henge lies below the road to Ullswater. Though the round table was named after the legendary king, there is no connection or anything to do with him.
